Honourable Minister of State (R&B) Sri Ch. Ayyanna patrudu congratulates 13 women boxing players belongs to Narsipatnam, those who are participating in the state level boxing championship on 13th, 14th, 15th May at Indira Priyadarshini Stadium, Visakhapatnam.
Among 13 players, six players are participating in junior boxing championship and remaining seven players are participating in sub-junior boxing championship.

“Sri Sri Sri Modakondamma Talli Jathara” is a famous Tribal Festival being celebrated every year in the month of “Chaitra”/May traditionally at Paderu, Visakhapatnam district mainly to honour the presiding tribal goddess “Modakondamma” and the temple is located in Paderu which is a major Mandal head quarter and one of the 11 Mandals located in the Agency area of Visakhapatnam district.
The temple and the deity have significant history and is considered to be the powerful goddess in the agency area being worshipped by the tribal, non-tribal communities. The festival is conducted for a period of 3 days with all devotional and traditional customs of tribals.
Festival of Sri Sri Sri Maridi Mahalakshmi Ammavaru will be held in Narsipatnam from 30-03-2018 to 31-03-2018. It is one of the most significant festivals in Narsipatnam. It is organized once for every 2 years by the temple authority. A large number of devotees thronged Sri Sri Sri Maridi Mahalakshmi Ammavari Temple on the occasion of this festival. Crackers show, Special musical and dance programmes organized at festival.
